The parts that actually take the work off your plate.
One section at a time, in the order recruiters expect — Contact, Summary, Experience, and on. A live completeness score shows exactly what's left before you download.

Proofreads grammar and phrasing with one click, and when a bullet needs more, generates a few stronger rewrites to choose from — grounded in what you actually wrote, never invented numbers.
Paste the job description — or skip it for a general letter — and get a polished, one-page cover letter set in the same font as your resume.
Paste the job description and AI rewrites your summary and bullets to match it — saved as a brand-new copy, so your original is always safe. See your match score and close skill gaps in the same pass.
From strictly ATS-safe to bold and colorful. Switch anytime without losing your data.

Upload an old resume, or enter your job title to see recommended templates. Drag and drop sections to match your experience, then fill in your contact info, work history, education, and skills. Use C for CV's AI tools — proofreading, stronger bullet rewrites, and role-matched examples — to polish it, tailor it to a job description in one click, and download it as a PDF or Word (.docx) file.
Yes — building a resume, using the live preview, and trying every template are completely free, no account needed. Downloading does require signing in, and your first download is free; after that, more downloads are purchased in one-time packages, never a subscription. Signing in also adds cloud sync across devices and extra AI-guided writing tools.
No. Guest mode works with zero sign-in, everything is saved in your browser. Signing in later adds cloud backup and lets you pick up on another device without losing anything.
Yes. Your data is encrypted both at rest and in transit, stored within the EU, and only ever accessible to your own account — enforced at the database level, not just in the app's interface. You can access, correct, export, or permanently delete everything tied to your account at any time from Account Settings. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on what's collected and why.
Every template is checked for how cleanly it parses through an ATS, and templates that trade some ATS safety for a bolder visual design are clearly labeled, so you can choose deliberately instead of guessing.
Yes, both. PDF exports render server-side from the exact design you see in the live preview, with a real, searchable text layer, never a flattened image. DOCX export is available too for portals that require it.
AI drafts suggestions — proofreading, stronger bullet phrasing, keyword extraction from a job posting — but every rewrite and suggestion is grounded in your real experience, never invented. You approve or reject each change yourself: one click to apply a suggestion, one click to undo it if you change your mind. Anything checkable with plain code, like Job Match's score, is computed deterministically instead of left to the AI's opinion.
Hiring managers and applicant tracking systems both look for resumes that match the job description — a generic resume blends in, while one tailored to the role highlights the skills and experience the company actually needs. C for CV's Tailor for a Job feature generates a new version of your resume reworded around a specific posting in one click, and Job Match lets you check your match score against any posting and add missing keywords to your existing resume.
Yes — cover letters are still worth sending. They let you expand on skills and achievements a resume can't fully capture, show genuine motivation, and explain directly why you're a fit for the role — paired with a tailored resume, that makes the whole application stronger. C for CV's Cover Letter Generator drafts one from your existing resume in minutes, tailored to a job posting if you have one or written to stand on its own if you don't.
No. AI is used for editing and suggestions, rephrasing, spell-check, job-match keyword extraction, never to invent employers, dates, credentials, or metrics you haven't provided.
Yes. Every resume gets a shareable live link that always reflects your latest edits, so a recruiter sees the current version instead of an outdated attachment.
Yes, any time. Open the Share panel (the link icon in the editor toolbar, or the Share action on any resume in your Dashboard) and uncheck "Anyone with the link can view" — the link stops working immediately, even for people who already saved it. If you'd rather keep the link active but show less, check "Hide contact details" instead: the link keeps working, but your email, phone, location, and photo are removed from it server-side before anyone sees the page — only your name and professional links (LinkedIn, GitHub, etc.) stay visible.
Yes. Switching templates is a pure visual choice, your content stays exactly the same.
Not yet — the interface and AI features are English-only today. Support for Polish, French, German, and Danish is planned.
